This is for Daphne while she's at "Sixth Grade Camp" this week. It's a big deal for them to receive mail, so I thought I'd better mail it the day she leaves or it won't get to her in time! Check out the "Paper Tales" blog for a sneak peak at the store!!!
(BTW, everything on the card is A Muse)
Ambre is Bret's Rock of Love!!! Yay!!! The end of my awesome guilty pleasure...
Helle and I spent all morning waiting for the flooring guy to come start installing the flooring at the store...to make a long story really short it will be installed tomorrow! But you know us, we had fun anyway and look what Helle gave me!!!
I LOVE it! Now you'll see why it's so special!
Yes...it's official...one month from tomorrow "Paper Tales" opens!!! We'll keep you posted.
I remembered these A Muse Christmas elves and turned them into leprechauns! I got the whole St. Patrick's Day idea after reading/seeing Linda's cards on the A Muse blog. Now I'm off to make shamrock cookies...have fun tomorrow everyone!!!
Saturday was the big "Artist Market" at "Paris to the Moon".
Here's Helle ready to head over and shop!
As much fun as the market was, there is nothing better than shopping in "Paris to the Moon"!!! Everything is delicious, lovely and unusual. (And it's always fun to chat with Kerri and Danyel!!!)
Hand-knit cupcakes and multi-colored marshmallows...
I wish my home could be just like this!
Saying goodbye to Candice before driving back to San Diego. Not only was Candice a vendor that day, but her online boutique "Peacoats and Partyhats" had opened as well! Be sure to check it out...it's full of treasures!
Helle and I headed up to Orange County on Friday ready to explore! First stop was Somerset Studios to drop off Helle's collaborative "Valentine Journal". It is absolutely beautiful. Next stop Fullerton. We had been hearing about this amazing store "Gilding the Lily" and we had to see it. We were waylaid by the cute outfit at "Lo Lo".
A great assortment of stylish and comfy clothes and jewelry.
Lunch at "The Brownstone Cafe".
Villa Del Sol Courtyard.
What a treat..."The British Grocer". Where else can you find "Hello!" and Toffo?
Then...what we drove to Fullerton for..."Gilding the Lily".
It is a beautiful store full of amazing vintage ribbon, buttons and more. Nancy is the gracious and talented owner.
Look at these buttons! This is just a small selection!!!
Can you believe that we ran into DeDe Warren in "Gilding the Lily"?!? How fun for us! We got caught up on "all" the latest!
I fell in love with these bracelets that Nancy makes. I hope she'll come teach at our store!!!
