is my dear friend Helle Greer!!! Very ironic for me since Helle is the one responsible for getting me interested in A Muse to begin with! I got to surprise her with a tiara and goody bag from Linda and the A Muse Crew. For more details check out the A Muse blog!!!
Helle and I met up with Vicki Chrisman and Sandy Redburn at the "Scrapbook Expo". Crafty Secrets booth and products are just the best! We met up again after they finished working. We ate at Nick's at The Pier in Ocean Beach, and then took a stroll along the ocean. Miss Vicki needed to dip her toes into some ocean water! We had a great time; I just love these girls! I'm so lucky to have such dear friends!
I have ALWAYS loved ice creams trucks! (That was my first favorite A Muse stamp!) So when I heard "the music" today, I yelled like crazy for all the kids (mine and the neighbors!) to come out. This is one of my favorite parts of summer...hanging out barefoot on the front lawn with ice cream from the ice cream man!!!
After a dip in the pool for the girls while my mom and I had breakfast (Kailie was STILL sleeping!) we hit the road. We thought it would be fun to head south on Pacific Coast Highway and get on the freeway after Dana Point.
Super cute and SUPER expensive doggie store!
Always a fun place to visit!
We really did have salads here before dessert! Pacific Whey at Crystal Cove is a great restaurant. I was not overly impressed with the other shops though...very rude, no greeting when you walk in, etc...I'm always sad when I confront poor customer service.
Kailie loved this part of our drive!
...and I loved this part!
That's Kailie in the back of the store, she was hiding from the camera most of the trip.
This was our last stop before we hopped on the freeway back to San Diego! Another fun overnight trip!
How cute is this...holders for your doll in the bathroom!!!
Daphne and Audrey...back downstairs to the doll "beauty salon".
Daphne with her new doll carrier.
Audrey's doll get a new "do".
Daphne, Ann Badertscher and Audrey. Ann is a personal shopper at AG...and THE cutest girl ever, she rocks! We got a peek at the two newest AG dolls and pre-ordered "Julie". She and David were so fun to talk to...the girls loved them! Be sure to look them up when you visit!
"The Grove" is a really cool shopping center...you don't feel like you're in LA at all.
I was sooo excited to hear there was a package for me in today's mail. Lucky me...Vicki Chrisman send me a BEAUTIFUL piece of art! She made my day!!! Thanks for thinking of me Vicki!!! Can't wait to see you at "The Expo" in San Diego.
but I've been busy - really! I've been doing "stuff" around the house, seeing movies with my kids (LOVED "Hairspray"), going to the beach and just goofing off! Trying to enjoy the last of the unscheduled days before school starts.
